Module 1: Topic: The Cell Phone: The Next Educational Innovation
Population: This Multimedia workshop is designed for educators who are interested in taking the cell phone from distraction to educational learning tool.
Outcomes: By the end of this course students will be able to:
1. Use the cell phone in an educational setting.
2. Design assignments and assessments through the use of a cell phone.
3. Use existing technology in conjunction with the use of cell phones. Gap: I believe my participants already know that the technology that currently is cell phones is not conducive to the learning environment. I believe what that the learners that would attend this class would be interested in trying to incorporate cell phone use into the classroom environment. The existing gap between the two would be the fact that most educators do not know how to incorporate the cell phone into the classroom as an educational tool. My workshop would be designed to give educators a few ideas to how to incorporate cell phones into the classroom in a way that make them conducive to learning. Module 2:
